Live betting: in-play odds, cash out and statistics
Live betting lets you bet while a match is in progress. Odds move with every attack, goal and card, so it helps to know why markets close, how cash out is calculated and how to control odds changes.
How in-play odds move
Score and time
As time runs down, odds on the leading side shorten and the trailing side drifts.
Market suspensions
Markets pause for a few seconds after goals, penalties, red cards and video reviews, then reopen at new odds.
Bet acceptance delay
Live bets are confirmed after a short delay of 5 seconds to make sure the odds are still valid.
Cash out
Cash out settles a bet before the event ends. The amount offered depends on the current odds of your selections, so it can be more or less than your stake. Once accepted, a cash out cannot be reversed.
- Full cash out. Close the whole bet for the amount shown.
- Partial cash out. Available — settle part of the stake and keep the rest running.
- When it is unavailable. During suspensions and on some markets, such as correct score and player markets.
